Faulkner is No. 59 in ’ composite rankings of the state’s class of 2027 and committed to Tulane in June. The 6-foot-3, 212-pound safety earned 2025 Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 7A all-state second-team defense honors after posting 52 total tackles and three tackles for loss. The December graduate runs a 4.56-second 40-yard dash and recorded a 9-foot-8-inch broad jump. “Returning starter at safety, great kid and great football player,” Pirates coach Caleb Ross said. “Extremely versatile — fast enough to cover wide receivers and physical enough to play closer to the line of scrimmage and make tackles. He will be the leader of our defense this year.”
