“One of the best stories of our offseason was Conner switching over to defense,” Warriors coach Mark Freeman said. “One of the best student-athletes we have. Has played all over – quarterback, wide receiver and finally made the switch to defensive back this spring, and it paid off in a big way. He worked tirelessly to learn and become a defensive back. The thing that separates Conner is he never gets too high or too low.” The 6-foot-3, 185-pound cornerback has a 4.1 GPA, runs a 4.54-second 40-yard dash and committed to Troy.
