Gideon Gash, Novi Detroit Catholic Central senior Gash might be the best all-around high school athlete in the state of Michigan this school year. He also plays basketball and lacrosse, and was a standout for the track team in the spring both in sprint events and the long jump. But football is his main calling card, and he can dominate in all facets. Gash was named first-team all-state last year as a lockdown cornerback, but he also is a big-play threat on offense, catching three long touchdown passes in a win over Detroit Cass Tech last year in the Division 1 state championship game. Gash also will see time as a returner this year. Possessing elite athleticism for someone his size, Gash is committed to Texas Tech.
