The 5-foot-11, 220-pound outside and middle linebacker benches 270 pounds, squats 405 and cleans 275. “Eric will be a three-year starter for us,” Lions coach Bobby Carr said. “He led our team in tackles last year at Mike linebacker. He’s changed his body now. He’s gone from 195 pounds to 220 in a year. So, yeah, he looks good, and he’s done a good job. We’re looking for him to have a breakout season.”
