Local recognition: 2026 Alabama returning player, postseason honoree, or ranked prospect

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound linebacker is a three-time state champion who recorded 63 tackles, one interception, seven quarterback hurries, six pass deflections and seven tackles for loss in 2025. Davis is No. 72 in ’ composite rankings of the state’s class of 2027 and committed to Colorado State in June. “Kevin is a dynamic playmaker who will be going into his third season as a starter,” Warriors coach Mark Freeman said. “He’s a versatile second-level defender whose impact will be felt all over the defense. Kevin plays the game with joy and excitement and is one of the best individuals in our program. We’re looking forward to him having a big year for us.”
