The 6-foot-2, 195-pound defensive back/linebacker has a 3.1 GPA, runs a 4.52-second 40-yard dash and recorded 33 tackles, four passes defended and one fumble recovery in six games last season. “Amare came on last year around Game 5 as our safety and has become a real leader on the team,” Senators coach Ronnie Watson said. “He’s had an amazing offseason. He is a student of the game.”
