Season SummaryNelson pounded the ball for Grafton 265 times as a junior for 1,931 yards and 26 touchdowns, helping the Black Hawks capture the WIAA Division 3 state title last November. Nelson was one of 11 players across the state who registered at least 1,900 yards on the ground and was one of 17 players who had at least 26 rushing touchdowns in 2025. He was also one of 11 players who scored a rushing touchdown of 95 yards or longer. In the 17-15 state title game victory over Reedsburg, Nelson carried 30 times for 167 yards and two scores against the Beavers.
