Edwards brings rare size to the cornerback position. The class of 2028 junior runs a 4.48-second 40-yard dash, has a 3.1 GPA and holds offers from Alfred State and Talladega College. “Jonathan will be a first-year starter for us in the secondary,” Tigers coach Preston Judah said. “Jonathan is a junior and has great physical tools at 6-foot-3, 170 pounds. He runs extremely well for his size and is working on becoming physical in the box. A tremendous effort player, he chased down Lincoln County’s running back on a breakaway run from the opposite sideline.”
